PILATES IS CORRECTIVE EXERCISE
-
What is corrective exercise?
The systemic process of identifying neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction, developing a plan of action, and then implementing an integrated corrective strategy (Clark et al., 2011).
-
Who benefits?
Everyone benefits from doing corrective exercise. Even if not living with pain, our current movement patterns often produce muscular imbalances, weakness, or tightness that reduce optimal functioning of the body.
With a consistent practice of 2-3 weekly Pilates workouts developing muscle strength and endurance corrects these imbalances which makes doing your daily tasks easier, whether it’s picking up your kids, gardening, or hiking with your dog.

Why Pilates?
Pilates Apparatus provides the support and challenge from the equipment to move the body in effective, healthy, and beneficial movement patterns.
We are the only studio in Langley to provide every single piece of Pilates equipment Joseph Pilates invented in our group classes and privates. Each piece is unique and all were designed to specifically heal a different area of the body.

Ready for results?
We offer consistency and accountability to build bodies strong and resilient using an intelligent approach to exercise.
We know what works. Both Gwyneth and Amy are the most educated in the Pilates field than anyone else in the area. We have invested in our education to provide our clients with the best instruction.
We skillfully use Classical Pilates exercises with the deep knowledge of the evidence-based practices developed by physiotherapists and kinesiologists keeping the client's abilities, limitations, and goals in the forefront.
Evidence-based practices are about making decisions concerning each client’s program utilizing current best-available evidence in professional literature. It’s the smart way to train.
Over 38 weekly small group classes to choose from!
